To become part of the Ukrainian Owned™ community, a business must meet the following criteria:

Voluntary Self-Identification

We do not limit access by nationality, but instead provide the opportunity for you to voluntarily declare your connection to Ukraine.

This can include:

• Ukrainian owner, co-founder, or employee: A business with a Ukrainian partner or employee.
• A business founded by Ukrainian immigrants or the diaspora: A company established by individuals of Ukrainian origin.
• A company actively supporting Ukrainian culture, charity, or initiatives: A business involved in supporting Ukrainian projects, cultural events, or charitable initiatives aimed at helping Ukraine and its people.

The business applies and confirms its connection to Ukraine without any official requirements regarding citizenship or nationality.
This allows us to work with a wide range of entrepreneurs, not limited by their origin.

Declaration of Participation

When registering, participants sign a simple form – an Ethical Declaration – confirming their connection to the Ukrainian community and that they share the values and goals of the project. No one is required to provide personal documents. The commitment to adhere to these principles is essential for participation in the community.

Open Membership Criteria

Instead of strict requirements, we establish open criteria, such as:

• We unite entrepreneurs who feel connected to Ukrainian culture, business, or support Ukraine.
• We unite entrepreneurs who want their products or services to be in demand among Ukrainians or people sympathetic to Ukraine.

This ensures that no one is excluded based on nationality, and it doesn’t appear as a restriction, but rather opens the doors to anyone who supports the Ukrainian community and culture.

Independent Advisory Board

For complex cases, we have created a small Advisory Board that will review unique situations and determine if the business aligns with the spirit of  the community. 

This approach helps prevent misunderstandings and ensures that community members share the values and goals of the project.
